1. Scope

These terms govern the use of the SofaCoder apps (macOS and iOS) and this website. For the iOS app obtained through the Apple App Store, Apple's standard EULA applies in addition.

2. What SofaCoder is

SofaCoder is a companion tool for Anthropic's Claude Code CLI: it shows sessions and plan limits and forwards approval requests to your own devices. SofaCoder is not an Anthropic product and requires your own valid Claude Code usage.

3. Responsibility for approvals

SofaCoder does not execute commands itself — it forwards your decision to Claude Code. Which actions you approve is your responsibility. The risk grading is an aid, not a guarantee: always review critical actions (e.g. delete commands, force push) yourself.

4. Warranty and liability

The Mac app is provided free of charge and "as is". We are fully liable for intent and gross negligence; for slight negligence only for the breach of essential contractual obligations, limited to the foreseeable damage typical for this kind of contract. Liability for data loss is limited to the recovery effort with proper backups in place.

5. Availability

Synchronisation relies on Apple services (iCloud/CloudKit, APNs) whose availability we do not owe. Changes to Claude Code or Anthropic interfaces may limit SofaCoder features.

6. Final provisions

German law applies. Should individual provisions be invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions remains unaffected.
